Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM) founded in 1984, is an active member and part of ‘Study in India’ initiative of MHRD, Government of India.
With a Ph.D. qualified faculty of 134, RCOEM has received a ranking of #23 by India Today and #27 by Outlook 2019 in the All India Private Engineering Colleges category. NIRF 2019 also ranks RCOEM at #112
It is affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) and follows admissions guidelines set by the University and State CET Cell.
Admissions are offered in B.E, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and Ph.D. degree programs. Applications for admissions for B.E, M.Tech, MBA and MCA are accepted through State CET Cell. While admission applications for Ph.D. are accepted through RTMNU.

To be eligible for admissions, students must be citizens of India and there is a 5% relaxation for backward class students from Maharashtra/India on the whole and persons with disability. Also, students must have a relevant degree from UGC/AIU recognized universities.
B.E admissions are offered on the basis of JEE Mains or MHT-CET. Students must also have at least 50% in either HSSC (PCM) or Diploma or equivalent from a recognized board. All eligible students can appear for both the entrances other than students from Maharashtra, who can appear only for MHT-CET.
For M.Tech admissions, students are eligible only if they qualify GATE and have a degree in Engineering and Technology with a relevant discipline from an AICTE/Central/State Government approved universities.
MBA admissions can be offered based on MAH-CET or CMAT or CAT. Also, the students will be eligible if they have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
MCA admissions are also offered on the basis of entrance, MAH-MCA-CET. Along with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, but with Mathematics as a subject in 10+2 or at the graduation level of examination.
For Ph.D. admissions, students will be considered eligible only if they qualify either MU-PET/GATE/SET/UGC-NET/JRF. If students are UGC-NET qualified then they are exempted from appearing for MU-PET. Applicants must have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
In total, 1368 students have been placed for 2021 on-campus placements. Around 20 LPA was the highest package, while 8 students were offered the second-highest package of 19.5 LPA. The average package was recorded at 5 LPA.
