SNS College of Engineering (SNSCE) is a reputed self-financed engineering institute in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The college was established in the year 2007. The college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
SNS College of Engineering (SNSCE) offers undergraduate and postgraduate level programs in various Engineering disciplines. SNS College of Engineering B.E. Admission 2023
SNS College of Engineering offers B.E. in six disciplines and B.Tech in Information Technology. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to any of these programs is passing 10+2 or an equivalent exam with minimum 50% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics combined. Selection of candidates for admission purpose is done on the basis of marks obtained by the applicant in the last qualifying exam, which is sorted through TNEA single window counselling.

Key Points for Admission:
- Only candidates who are native to Tamil Nadu are eligible for TNEA counselling. Other state candidates are required to take the CET held by the institute’s consortium.
- For admission through lateral entry, candidates are required to score at least 55% average marks in the pre-final and final semester.
- The minimum marks eligibility criteria for SC/ST/MBC candidates is 40% in PCM in 10+2 level exam.
- Relaxation of 5% is given to BC candidates in qualifying exam.

To be eligible for postgraduate programs it is required to have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant or allied discipline with minimum of 50% marks. M.E., MBA, and MCA candidates are selected on the basis of TANCET counselling. Applicants who are not eligible to apply through TANCET are selected through a CET conducted by the institute.

Key Points for Admission:
- Non-TANCET candidates are required to take the institute level CET for admission purpose.
- M.C.A. (10+2+3+3 Pattern) or M.Sc. (5 years integrated) in IT/CS/SE candidates can apply for M.E. in CSE.

For B.E. / B. Tech Programs:
Candidates applying for undergraduate level engineering courses are required to apply through TNEA counselling. The process of application is as follows:
- Fill the online application form for TNEA on the official website.
- Payment of TNEA application fee (INR 500 for general candidates and INR 250 for reserved category) can be done online.
- A copy of the printed application from, accompanied by photocopies of educational documents, must be sent to “Secretary, TNEA, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025,”
The following documents have to be submitted along with TNEA application form:

- HSC/Equivalent Mark Sheet
- 10th Mark Sheet
- HSC Hall Ticket
- Transfer Certificate

For M. E. & MBA Courses
Candidates applying for M.E. and MBA courses have to apply through TANCET. The process of application for TANCET is as follows:
- Candidate must first apply for TANCET by registering through the TANCET website.
- Both online and offline modes of application is offered by TANCET.
- Candidates applying through any mode of application are required to send a copy of the complete application form and photocopies of all relevant documents to “The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University, Chennai”
- For offline payment of application fees, a demand draft of INR 500 (INR 250 for reserved category) is to be enclosed with the application form.
- Qualifying candidates are called for a university-level counselling based on which seats are allotted.

Note: Candidates who are not eligible for TNEA or TANCET can apply through institute level CET. In this case, applicants are required to contact the institute’s admission cell for application form and information brochure. Application fee can be paid through cash deposit or demand draft.
SNS College of Engineering Scholarship 2023
The following scholarships are awarded to meritorious and deserving candidates pursuing their education in SNS College of Engineering, category-wise:
1. Cut off marks in Hr. Sec. / 10+2 Level Examinations:
- Cut off marks 190 and above – 100% Tuition Fee waiver + either Hostel Fees or Bus Fees is waived off.
- Cut off Marks 180 and above – 100 % Tuition Fee waiver
2. Scholarship awarded for the following category of Students of U.G Courses:
- Academic Topper Scholarship for every Semester – 50% of Tuition Fees or up to the maximum of INR 35,000.
- All Rounder Scholarship – Scholarship up to INR 70,000.
- Students with Parental Constraint – 50% of Tuition Fees or up to the maximum of INR 35,000 to Single Parent (mother only)
- No Parent Scholarship – 100% of Tuition Fees or up to the maximum of INR 70,000.
3. Merit and Means Scholarship for the students of U.G. / P.G. Courses:
