RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT), Bangalore, India is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. RNSIT was established in the year 2001. RNSIT, Bangalore offers admission to various UG and PG programs in a number of specializations. The courses offered are Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), BE Lateral, MBA, M.Tech., and MCA.
For B.E courses admission is based on the marks scored in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) / JEE / COMEDK UGET. For BE Lateral entry course, DCET scores are mandatory. M.Tech admission is based on GATE/ Karnataka PGCET scores while for MBA and MCA admissions, candidates need to appear in PGCET and obtain valid scores.
The application process for KCET begins in the month of January every year while for COMEDK it starts in the month of February. The application fee of the KCET exam is INR 650. RNS Institute of Technology PG Admissions 2023
The college also offers M.Tech, MBA. MCA & M.Sc courses at PG level. The mode of application to all the courses is online. Admission in M.Tech is done on the basis of marks scored in the Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by KEA. Eligible candidates can also get admission in M.Tech through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) / Karnataka PGCET.
In order to seek admission in MCA and MBA, eligible candidates will have to appear in PGCET conducted by KEA.
- The very basic requirement for any candidate seeking admission into the institution is that he/she should have qualified the eligibility criteria set by the institution and the concerned entrance exam board.
- After this, once the candidates appear for the entrance test in their desired subject and attain a certain score they will be allotted a rank based on their merit.
