Established in the year 2001, Narayana Engineering College (NEC) is located in Gudur (Andhra Pradesh). It is affiliated with JNTU University, Anantapuramu and approved by AICTE.
Narayana Engineering College offers graduate courses in engineering along with postgraduate courses in engineering, management and computer application.
- UG admissions to B.Tech course require candidates to appear in AP EAMCET conducted by JNTU, Kakinada.
- To be eligible, candidates must pass their class XII with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
- For applicants applying to the courses in MBA and MCA, a valid score in AP Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) is compulsory.
- The eligibility to apply for MBA/MCA is graduation in any discipline with MCA candidates having studied mathematics at degree or class XII level.
- In case of admissions to M.Tech, applicants must appear in PGCET and register for online counselling.
- Candidates with valid GATE scores may apply separately for counselling.

For students interested in a career in Engineering, the college offers courses in B.Tech. It is a full-time course offered in five specialisations. The selection of candidates is based on their performance in EAMCET.
Candidates must have passed or appeared in the final year of class XII or equivalent from a recognized board of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects.

- Students must complete 16 years of age on or before December 31.
- Diploma holders who have completed the course or appearing in the final examination are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates will be invited for EAMCET counselling and seat allotment procedure on the basis of merit/scores and preference.
- EAMCET counselling shall include choice filling, document verification, reporting to the allotted institute and payment of fees.
- The registration for counselling by all EAMCET qualified candidates shall be made online by remitting an application processing fees.
NEC, Gudur PG Admissions 2023
At Post Graduation level the college offers courses in MCA, MBA and M.Tech. Those desirous of seeking admissions to M.Tech should appear in PGCET or apply directly for admissions on basis of GATE scores.
Candidates applying for MBA and MCA must appear in ICET. All admissions will be allotted on the basis of entrance tests scores and online counselling conducted by competent authority. The eligibility to apply to these courses will be as given below:

- Candidates appearing in their final year examination are considered eligible for admissions.

The application process involves the given steps:-
- Applying for the entrance test.
- Registering for Online Counselling conducted by competent authorities on the basis of entrance test scores.
- Eligible candidates may submit the requisite application or counselling registration fees via online payment gateway (Credit card/ Debit card / Net Banking).
- During counselling, candidates opting for NEC will be required to submit admission fee within the stipulated time period to confirm their seats in a particular course.
