NM Institute of Engineering and Technology Bhubaneswar offers admission to its undergraduate B.Tech. Programs on the basis of performance in the national level entrance conducted collectively by the IITs, JEE (Main).

For M.Tech. , candidates are selected on the basis of the selection process determined by the Biju Patnaik University of Technology, which is subject to change at the discretion of the University. In general, candidates may qualify through performance in the examination conducted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination authority.
