KPR Institute of Engineering & Technology is one of the premier institutions in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The institute was established in 2009 by KPR charities. The institute is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

KPR Institute BE/B.Tech. Admission 2023
The institute offers BE in 6 specializations and B.Tech. in 2 specializations. Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% aggregate marks and appear for TNEA counselling are eligible to apply for this course.
TNEA is conducted by Anna University in various Engineering institutes in the state.
Candidates have to register themselves for TNEA through its official website. They will be called for counseling based on the merit in qualifying examination of 10+2 and henceforth will be selected for admission.

Key points:
- Candidates must have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects in 10+2.
- There is a relaxation of 5% and 10% in the aggregate marks in 10+2 for candidates belonging to OBC and MBC, DNC, SC/SCA/ST respectively.
- Candidates who have completed their education from Class 8th to 12th in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply and need not enclose the Nativity certificate at the time of admission
- Tamil Nadu natives who have completed education from Class 8th to 12th from outside Tamil Nadu have to show the nativity certificate.
- Children of Central Government Employees irrespective of their native state are eligible to apply provided their parents/guardians have been serving in Tamil Nadu for the past five years.
- Children of All India Service Tamil Nadu cadre officers can also apply.
- Children of employees in Public Sector or Government recognized Institutions can also apply irrespective of their domicile.
KPR Institute M.E Admission 2023
The institute offers an M.Tech program in 4 specializations. To apply for this course, candidates must be BE/B.Tech. graduate in the relevant field.
Selection is based on the performance in TANCET exam followed by TANCA counselling. Candidates with a valid GATE score are exempted from TANCET.

KPR Institute Application Process 2023
The process of application is offline for all the courses. Candidates can download the application form online from the official website.
Candidates need to fill the form correctly. The form along with the DD has to be submitted at the institute campus. The DD will be drawn in favor of “The Secretary (TNEA), Anna University” payable at Chennai.
Following are the documents to be attached along with the form and DD:

- Transfer Certificate
- Permanent Community Certificate Card for ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC and BCM (either Permanent card or electronic form/digitally signed e-Certificate)

KPR Institute Scholarship 2023
The college has academic and sports scholarships to provide financial help to deserving and meritorious students. It offers a fee waiver to students admitted in B.Tech. The percentage of the fee is defined by the merit obtained in the JEE qualifying score – 100% Tuition Fee Waiver.
