IIET offers Bachelor’s in Technology and Business Administration. Admissions to B.Tech program are based on the counselling conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Board (HSTEB). Admissions will be made on the basis of candidate’s score in state or national level entrance exam followed by counselling. Counselling will be conducted on the basis of JEE Main score. Applicants who have secured 50% aggregate marks in higher secondary examinations with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Admissions to second year B.Tech are made on the basis of On Line Entrance Test (OLET) for Lateral Entrance Admission conducted by the state technical education board. Candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering or Technology with at least 45% aggregate marks. Candidate having passed B.Sc with at least 45% marks and passed 12^th standard examination with Mathematics as the subject are also eligible to apply. For admissions to BBA, candidates must have passed higher secondary examination in any stream with English as one of the compulsory subjects and at least 40% aggregate marks. Admissions will be made on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam.

• 75% of the seats will be filled by Haryana State Counseling Society (HSCS)/ National Information Centre (NIC). The remaining 25% (including the 15% NRI seats) seats will be filled at institute level.

Master’s is offered by the institute in the fields of technology and business administration. The state education board conducts Haryana Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (HCPET) for admission to all the post graduate courses offered by the institute. For admissions to M.Tech program, candidates must hold B.E/ B.Tech in the relevant disciplines. Candidates with Bachelor’s in any field can apply for MBA. Candidates, who have qualified GATE, are exempted from the entrance test by the state. Successful candidates will have to appear for the further round of counselling. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are entitled to 5% relaxation in the qualifying degree examination.
