Government College of Engineering - [GCE], Salem - Scholarship Details

1st year I paid roughly Rs.13500 including tuition fees, library fees, placement& training fees, certificate verification fees & others. 2nd year I pay: Rs.5500, In 3rd year I paid Rs.5500, In 4th year I paid Rs.5500, A scholarship of Rs.10000 was received each year for four years. I got placed in Brakes India Ltd with 2.4lk per annum.

Initial admission fees( First year) may vary every year by approximately 11k on the first year including their caution deposit amount. Exam fees are separate and need to pay them every semester. If you choose a hostel to stay and study separate hostel fees and mess fees are available. Mess fees are to be paid once a month whereas hostel fees are once a year. There are both central as well as state government scholarships are available. NSP minority scholarships for Christian and Muslim students and BC/ MBC /SC/ST scholarships given by the state government.

During the admission, we paid rs.10000. Next pay Rs.4000-5000 every year. A scholarship will be available. Bc scholarship-Rs.8000 per year. Sc scholarship-Rs.20000 per year. Students come under 7.5 reservation the college fees are paid by the government.
