• The students should have opted for Physics, Chemistry and Math as their subjects.
• The students should qualify JEE MAINS to secure a seat in this institute.

GIFT Bhubaneswar B.Tech Selection Process

• Admission into B.Tech courses of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, Orissa shall be based on criteria decided by the academic council of the University.
• There shall be provision for direct admission for a limited number of NRI students. The University (BPUT) and the examination conducting authority shall adopt the eligibility criteria as specified by AICTE.
• The student should at least have qualified in one of the entrance examinations of JEE (Main).
• Admission of a total 100% of seats in B.Tech courses are taken from the merit list of JEE (Main) only conducted on all India basis by CBSE, New Delhi, Govt of India, however the final distribution of seats, as per the decision of Govt. Of Orissa Policy Planning Body.

GIFT offers admission to the M.Tech course under 4 specializations. Students with B.Tech or B.E degree in relevant subjects can apply for admission to the course.

Admission to the course will be merit based on the marks secured in the GATE.

• A graduate degree with at least 50% aggregate score from a recognized university.
• Graduation can be of any form 10+2+4 or 10+3+3.
• Candidates should qualify in the GATE entrance exam.

GIFT Bhubaneswar M.Tech Selection Process

• Admission to the course will be based on the performance in GATE.
• Admission into postgraduate courses of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, Orissa shall be based on criteria decided by the academic council of the University.
• There shall be provision for direct admission for a limited number of NRI students. The University (BPUT) and the examination conducting authority GATE shall adopt the eligibility criteria as specified by AICTE.

How to apply for GATE?

• Registration on the official website of GATE.
• Fill the application form with personal, academic, qualification details, you will have to choose the preferred exam centre.
• The process of uploading documents like photographs, signature, eligibility certificate and SC/ST certificate (if there) must be done.
• Fee payment of INR 1500 or INR 2000 (based on various criteria) must be done.
• Submission of application form.

• Any graduation degree holder from a recognized institute or university.
• Minimum 50% marks should be secured in the final examination.

GIFT Bhubaneswar MBA Selection Process

• Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) is an entrance examination for admission to a number of professional courses in engineering and management program in the professional colleges of Odisha.
• Admission into postgraduate courses of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, Orissa shall be based on criteria decided by the academic council of the University.
• There shall be provision for direct admission for a limited number of NRI students. The University (BPUT) and the examination conducting authority Odisha Joint Entrance Examination shall adopt the eligibility criteria as specified by AICTE.

How to apply for OJEE?

• Visit the official site of OJEE.
• Choose the application form as per your course selection.
• Fill the application form with personal, academic, qualification details, you will have to choose the preferred exam centre.
• Upload scanned images of your passport sized photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression.
• Payment of application fee of INR 1000 or INR 1500 whichever is applicable to application form in respect to your course selection.
• Once the Application Form is submitted carefully, take a print out of the same for future reference.

The institute offers admission to the 2 years MCA course and students with graduation degree will be eligible for applying.

• Graduation in computer applications, computer science or related field with a minimum of 50% marks obtained at the UG level from a recognized university.

GIFT offers admission to Diploma courses under 3 specializations. Admission to the course will be merit based on the marks secured 10th Board exams.

After completing Diploma, students can appear for Lateral entry entrance exam or engineering entrance exam to secure admission in B.Tech. If the student secures admission through Lateral entry exam, they will directly get into second year of B.Tech.
