Gargi College Admissions 2023 to UG and PG programs is done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA. Admission to UG courses will be through the CUET UG exam and candidates seeking admission to PG courses will need to appear for the CUET PG examination. The Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) for postgraduate admissions has been discontinued as of the academic year 2023.
When the CUET results are declared, the registration process for all UG and PG programs will begin on Delhi University's admission portal -admission.uod.ac.in. Candidates will then be required to select a program and a college for seat distribution. Seats to UG courses will be allocated through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.
For PG admissions, the Final selection will be based on the merit list released by the institute for both merit and entrance-based admissions. 50% of the total seats will be filled on a merit basis in the qualifying examination for those students who hold their bachelor’s degree from Delhi University. The remaining 50% of seats will be allocated on the basis of CUET PG rank.

Gargi College UG Selection Process
Selection to UG courses is based on the CUET examinations conducted by the university followed by e-counselling rounds. Those candidates who qualify in their CUET examinations will be required to enroll for e-counselling. Candidates will then be able to choose which college they wish to attend through the two rounds of e-counselling.
Furthermore, CUET examinations are divided into three sections:
- Section 1 Languages: this further contains two sections, ‘A’ and ‘B’. Section ‘A’ contains 13 languages such as Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, etc. Section ‘B’ contains 20 languages such as French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, etc. For admission candidates must at least appear in one language.
- Section 2 Domain Specific: There are 27 domain specific subjects in this section. Candidates are required to refer to the program specific eligibility criteria in order to select domain specific subjects.
- Section 3 General Test: General test for any UG programme offered by the university where the general test is being used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program specific eligibility criteria for selecting general tests.

Selection for the B.B.E course is now done on the basis of the CUET examinations as well. Previously it would happen on the basis of DUJAT examinations which is a national level entrance exam usually conducted for admissions into BMS and BBA. However, since 2022 Delhi University has replaced the DUJAT examinations with the CUET examinations.

Gargi College offers PG programs in few specialisations and the courses are M.A and M.Sc. These courses are offered for a duration of 2 years. To be eligible for PG curriculums, students should have a graduation degree in related fields with the minimum required marks. Phase 1: CSAS Application Form
- Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
- ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.
Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences
- Second phase will start after the results of the CUET examination are declared.
- After the CUET Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.
Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission
- Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET scores.
- Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted.
- Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
- Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
- Upon acceptance of seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.
