BABA Institute of Technology & Sciences (BITS) is a reputed educational institution imparting quality education in the fields of Engineering and Management. - Candidates with a valid CAT/ MAT score can directly register for MBA counselling. Similarly, GATE qualifiers are eligible for direct counselling for M. Tech admissions.
- Candidates are selected on the basis of AP EAMCET/ PGECET/ ICET rank according to merit.
- Candidates seeking lateral entry must attend counselling for the same.
- Candidates qualifying AP EAMCET/ AP PGECET/ ICET must attend web-counselling where the candidate is allowed to select college & courses through internet facility available at their residence or by visiting a nearby Help-line Center.

BABA Institute of Technology & Sciences offers undergraduate level engineering degree (B. Tech) programs in the disciplines of Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering.
The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the B. Tech courses is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam. Candidates are further required to score a minimum aggregate of 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects. Candidates are selected on the basis of their EAMCET rank.
Prospective applicants may apply through EAMCET website, appear for the state-level entrance exam and attend its respective counselling. The mode of application and fee payment for EAMCET is online only. Candidates who clear the EAMCET entrance test only can attend the web-based counselling process of EAMCET for admission purpose.

BABA Institute of Technology & Sciences Application Process
BABA Institute of Technology & Sciences fills its seats for various courses through state level entrance and counselling. Candidates may visit their respective entrance exam websites, of APEAMCET, AP-PGECET and AP-ICET and fill the online application form. The entrance tests are usually held in the month of April-May and counselling is conducted late June onwards until mid-August. Candidates who qualify their respective entrance tests are eligible for counselling. Seats are allotted post counselling on the basis of the candidates’ entrance test rank. The application- cum- counselling process is as follows:
- Candidates seeking admission to government quota seats must fill the online application form by visiting the aforesaid websites as applicable.
- The payment of application fee for the aforementioned courses can be paid online using credit/ debit card or net-banking.
- The applicant is required to download admit cards from the respective websites as notified and appear in the entrance tests conducted for the purpose of selection.
- Candidates qualifying the entrance test must visit one of the nearest Help-line Centers with all relevant documents for verification.
- After verification of his/ documents, the candidate will receive a Blank Option Form along with a list of colleges names, courses, and their Codes.
- The applicant must write down their preferred college and course codes on priority basis. The college code for BITS, Vizag is BABA.
- In case of discrepancies, the applicant is allowed to modify his/her choice of college and course code on a given date which is notified by the authority on their official website. This marks the final opportunity for the student to exercise their options.
- The final allotment of seats according to the authority’s norms will be displayed on the official website. The candidates whose names are on the Merit list must download their allotment order and report though Self-reporting system/ at college for payment of admission fees and to book his/her seat.

Self-attested photocopies of the following documents must be submitted at the time of counselling/ admission:
- Hall ticket of EAMCET/ PGECET/ ICET
- Rank Card of EAMCET/ PGECET/ ICET
- SSC / Intermediate or Equivalent marks memo

Candidates will be issued a receipt of Certificates at Help-line Centers after Documents Verification. Those seeking admission to Category ‘B’ seats may apply directly through the institute website by filling the online application form. The application fee can be paid using online payment modes such as card payment, internet banking etc. Applicants for Category B seats do not need to attend EAMCET counselling.
