Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy is situated in Delhi and is affiliated to the University of Delhi. AJIPT offers full-time courses in Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Masters of Physiotherapy (MPT).
Candidates who have cleared High School (10+2) are eligible to apply for the BPT programme from AJIPT. Candidates seeking admission in an MPT programme from AJIPT must have passed an undergraduate degree in physiotherapy to apply for the course.
The admission to various programs of the Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy is strictly done by the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the University of Delhi. The selection of the candidates for admission to the BPT will be made on the basis of merit in an Entrance Examination.

The Examination will be of three hours duration and shall consist of objective type questions that are based on the Senior School Certificate (10+2) curriculum of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and will also include questions in General Knowledge.
Admission to the MPT program is granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the Entrance Test followed by counseling. The test shall consist of 200 objective-type questions based on the Bachelor of Physiotherapy curriculum (University of Delhi).

AJIPT New Delhi BPT Admission 2023
AJIPT offers a 3-year full-time Bachelor in Physiotherapy (BPT) programme that the admission to which is done on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the University of Delhi.
AJIPT New Delhi BPT Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must have passed Senior School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (12 years)/ Indian School Certificate Examination of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination/ Intermediate/ Pre-medical Examination or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto with 50% marks or more (45% marks or more for reserved category) in the aggregate of four subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English Core) as main subjects provided the student has passed each subject separately. Candidates should be declared overall passed on the mark sheet.
- The candidate should be a minimum of 17 years of age on 31st December in the year of admission.
AJIPT New Delhi BPT Selection Criteria
The selection of the candidates for the admission to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course will be made on the basis of the merit in an Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the University of Delhi.

NRI sponsored Category
NRI Sponsored Candidates do not have to appear for the entrance examination. Selection will be made on the basis of academic merit (in qualifying examination i.e. 10+2) as well as an interview.
AJIPT New Delhi MPT Admission 2023
At the PG level, the institute offers an MPT under the following specializations-
- Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
- Neurological Physiotherapy
AJIPT New Delhi MPT Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have fulfilled at least one of the following conditions:
- Successful completion of an undergraduate physiotherapy degree (B.Sc. (PT) / BPT) from a recognized college/institute/university within India of not less than 4½ years duration (including 6 months of internship) with 50% of aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/OH) in university exams. Candidates who have completed 3 ½ years course and an additional bridge course of 1 year will be considered equivalent to 4 ½ years course.
- An undergraduate physiotherapy qualification (B.Sc. (PT) / BPT etc.) of 3 ½ years duration from a recognized college/ institute/ university plus at least 10 years of work experience.
AJIPT New Delhi MPT Selection Criteria
The selection of General/Reserved category candidates for admission to the Master of Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal / Neurological Physiotherapy) course will be made on the basis of merit in an entrance examination.
The examination will be of three hours duration & shall consist of 200 objective type questions based on the Bachelor of Physiotherapy curriculum (University of Delhi).
Note- All Candidates belonging to the General and Reserved Categories will have to appear for the Entrance Examination.
How To Apply at AJIPT New Delhi?
To apply for admission, the candidates can register either online or offline. The Application Procedure is mentioned below-
Offline:
Candidate can download the prospectus along with the application form available at the official university website of the institute with application fee of INR. 1000/- for General Category/ NRI Category and Rs 700/- for SC/ST/OH candidates
The form along with the requisite fee in the form of DD must be drawn in favor of “Amar Jyoti Charitable Trust (BPT)” and must be deposited at the administrative office before the last date of application.

- To apply online, candidates are required to visit the official website.
- Go to the “Online Application Form” section under the Admissions Section.
- Upon filling-in all the required details and uploading documents, photograph and signature, candidate should click on “Submit” button
- Application can be made online as per instructions given during online procedure.
- Fees as INR. 1030/- for General Category/ NRI Category and INR. 721/- for SC/ST/OH candidates.
