  • The Department of Music offers programs in composition, music theory, and performance leading to the Master of Music (M.Mus.) and in musicology leading to the Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees. 
  • Graduate degrees in Music at the University of Saskatchewan provide an opportunity for students to do an intensive one-on-one study with experienced scholars and performing artists with particular specialties in piano, collaborative piano, voice, strings, brass, and woodwinds. 
  • Each program culminates in a project, recital, or thesis, depending on the discipline and degree. Courses are carefully tailored to each student by the graduate committee to complement studies in the major areas.
  • The MA program in musicology require 15 credit units plus a thesis. Certain areas of concentration also include the successful completion of a comprehensive examination and a foreign language(s). 

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Applicants have a cumulative weighted average of at least 70% in the last two years of study (i.e. 60 credit units).
  • A four-year bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, from a recognized college or university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study.
  • Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
  • Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • Completed a master’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

What is the percentage of acceptance for the international students in the course of MS in Pharmacy in University of Saskatchewan?

The University Of Saskatchewan has a low acceptance rate for master programs. The acceptance rate for master’s programs including M.Sc Pharmacy program is 22% only. The admission selection is very competitive. Students with good academic performance are offered admission.

The tuition fee for the M.Sc Pharmacy program fo University Of Saskatchewan is CAD 9396 per annum for international students. Besides the tution fee, you have to pay fees for programs like health and dental insurance, a bus pass, and other campus services. The amount you need to pay depends on if you are taking classes full time or part time, and if you are on campus or not.
