Biology is the study of living organisms and the study of the animal and plant life of a particular region. Science students at UNB Saint John can pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with a major or honors in biology. A B.Sc. in general biology is very flexible and can be tailored to your individual interests as well as toward any entrance requirements for professional schools.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Course requirements:
- Senior English Literature
- Senior Math, including Pre-Calculus
- Senior Chemistry
- 1 of Senior Physics, Senior Biology or Senior Geology (Senior Physics is required for entry into Health Sciences)
- Minimum admission average: 75% (The average marks in Pre-Calculus Math, Chemistry and the best other Science course must be at least 75%.)
