  • Students can start their studies at either institution, attend each school in alternate years, or complete the requirements in one before moving on to the other.

  • In the first year at NBCCD, students will normally be taking the complete Foundation Visual Arts Certificate program, in which all courses are prescribed.
  • The second year at UNB consists of 30 credit hours of lecture courses or seminars, of which at least 24 credit hours must be chosen from the 3000-4000 level.
  • Normally, students may not take independent study, reading, or thesis courses. The course selection should support the student's interest in craft and design.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students have to complete the following course requirements:
    • Senior English Literature (60% or higher)
    • 1 elective from group 1, 2 or 3
  • The minimum admission average of the students for the program is 65%.

Indian Student Eligibility

Indian students are eligible to apply if they have any one of the following certificates:

  • Intermediate Examination Certificate
  • Higher Secondary School Certificate
  • All India Senior School Certificate grades of 60% or higher
  • General Certificate of Education (GCE).

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
