Placement
Edmonton is not an extremely good place for IT industry... But you can always apply outside the province or apply jobs in the US. However, if you consider the tuition cost, it's relatively affordable, and you get a North American BSc degree! After BSc, students might be able to continue to its MSc program if their GPA is high enough (likely 3.7 / 4.0), and the MSc thesis program is fully funded.
It's a Canadian university with low tuition costs -- only about 25,000 CAD per year! Also, its admission rate is not as low as University of British Columbia and University of Toronto, but it has a strong CS department, particularly in Reinforcement Learning Theory.

Graduates in the university have wonderful chance of working in big private and various other companies
The university of alberta is universally ranked and globally recognised university in the world.
Placement
I guess the post-study placement opportunities are decent if you make effort outside of the university to do things, make projects, etc in the field you want to pursue in the future.
Because it is ranked among the top 10 universities in the world for Artificial Intelligence.
Placement
Currently, I am a 2nd-year student so not much information about this.
This is one of Canada's best universities with a good world ranking and very low tuition and living costs compared to other universities.
Placement
There are career fairs twice a year, where all the top companies come to the campus and give students a chance to interact on a personal level.
Internship

Placement
Placements and job opportunities are pretty good. Since the University of Alberta is ranked amongst the top 100 in the world and amongst the top 5 Canadian institution, it has a impressive reputation all over the globe and so the impression of the students from this university. This year the university has been placed at ranked no 3 in terms of research opportunities and quality in Canada and it is upgraded rank from last year's no 4.
Internship
Internship opportunities are for some programs and not for for all. There is a option better than internship for the co-op students in engineering. It starts in second year and I have just completed my first year so I really don't have a experience for internships but I am really excited for co-op now. On campus jobs can be found for info link volunteers and bloggers !
Placement
For engineering, there are many co-op opportunities. You can get a placement at many companies and the pay is very nice. The percentage of people who get placed is quite high and if you're a good student, it's pretty much guaranteed.
Internship
There are many jobs available on campus, and many related to the food places on campus, of which there are a lot. I do not know what the pay is like as I have not decided to seek employment on campus. I assume that it is easy to apply.
Close, reasonable tuitions, good programs, it was 3rd in all of Canada. It has a good mental health program and really good advisors. It's also pretty and big! I had lots of fun clubs and lots of things to do!
Placement
The job opportunities are very high. My college is very well known job opportunities and placements. They are very well educated people who understand that students need money in their pocket.
Internship
Yes, my college offers an internship. The internship I have chosen is Agricultural Life and Environmental Sciences. It's a full-time 16-month internship paid in the 4-12-16 month internship experience.
