The tuition average for the film program is $16,000 per year with the average bursary around $1,500. International applicants are expected to pay approximately $32,000 tuition per year. Unfortunately, the vast majority of scholarships are based on community involvement for local students before enrolling in any program. International applicants are still eligible for bursaries.

Limited amount of film schools in Western Canada. Only about 4 in particularly in Vancouver where the film industry is most prevalent. Cheapest tuition (still very expensive) of all of the options available. The bonus was that the program included its own equipment and studio which allowed everyone to work on projects locally.

Course Curriculum:

The required courses for the first years in my program make sense, as you need them to successfully move onwards in the path of science.

Fees:

The cost of my tuition for 2 terms and 9 classes was around six thousand dollars.

Course Curriculum:

I think the courses are offered are pretty great! Very interesting and varied to the interests of each person and their program requirements. The misconception that smaller universities and colleges have easier courses is not true at all since the full credits can be transferred where applicable.

Fees:

Fees depend on the credits you take depending on the course load chosen it transfers to a certain amount of money needed to pay. Student fees are also mandatory and they include the u-pass and medical coverage.
