Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Students with related Academic Qualification:

  • Students must have a bachelor's degree or related field from a recognized institution.
  • The related fields include a UG degree in business, commerce, economics, mathematics, or other quantitative-oriented programs.
  • A GPA of at least 3.0 (B grade) out of 4.33 is required to be eligible for the program.

Students with Relevant Work Experience:

  • Students may have an average work experience of 3.5 years.
  • For the thesis-based M.Sc program, admission is offered based upon publications, participation in research projects, and academic awards.
  • If students have any work experience then the chances of accepting the applications are more.

Others:

Students without related academic experience or work experience students are also encouraged to apply, given they met one of the following requirements:

  • Holding a professional designation such as a PRM or FRM and evidence of strong mathematics competency would also be ideal for students to take admission.
  • Students with a strong mathematical aptitude who have completed the graduate diploma in business administration offered by the University would be qualified for admission consideration.
  • Students who do not have any work experience in Canada can participate in week-long, full-time externships.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
  • Or, obtained a minimum of 3.0 CGPA in a quantitative discipline, which may include business, economics, mathematics, engineering or the sciences 

Students need to submit a minimum GMAT score of 550 or GRE scores with a minimum of 155 in each section, however, for better a chance of admission, students must obtain 600+ on GMAT or 300+ on GRE. 

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
