  • The mission of the program in Counselling Psychology is to prepare highly knowledgeable, skilled, dedicated, and ethical professional practitioners, who will endeavor to enhance human potential throughout the life span and who can effectively practice within a variety of settings.
  • The practice of Counselling Psychology is based on a theory and research, an understanding of ethical practices, and a set of professional and interpersonal skills
  • Students will acquire knowledge and competencies in the following general areas: legal and ethical aspects of counseling, career education and counseling, research and program evaluation, human development and learning, and individual and group counseling theory and techniques

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility: 

  • Students must hold a Bachelor's degree (minimum second class) with a 70% average in the last 30 attempted courses.
  • Students required at least one year of teaching (or related work) experience.

Indian students eligibility:

  • Applicants must hold a bachelor degree with minimum second class or 70% average in the last 30 attempted courses
  • Applicants must have studied Introduction to Counselling
  • Applicants must have completed at least one undergraduate course on each of the following topics or their equivalent:
    • Statistics
    • Assessment
    • Introduction to career education
    • Introduction to exceptionality

Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL Scores.
