Great program, lovely campus, not far from home, prestigious university known for sciences especially and as someone looking to go to medical school, a good undergrad is very important and I thought QU was the best option.

Course Curriculum

8

The course curriculum could be much better. I think because it is a prestigious school, they believe they need to make courses much harder than they need to be. I know of many friends at 'easier' universities that have much easier classes.

Placement

8

Job opportunities for students are good. If a student wishes to have a job during school, the odds are that they will be able to find one in some way. The school also has work placement opportunities for students that show a need for financial aid.

Events

9

Queens has many deep traditions that are heavily cherished. Different traditions go back to the opening of the school in the 1800s and are Aimed at allowing queens to stand out and in an attempt to create a bone.

Fees

The fees included tuition costs, along with many additional mandatory fees that totaled around $1000. Many of these fees are somewhat unnecessary in my opinion and should not be mandatory for students, especially those who show financial needs.

Scholarship

I received an entrance scholarship based on my high school grades when coming into my first year. This scholarship was valued at around $2000. During this year I also received around $2500 in financial aid from the university. I have received around $1000 in financial aid from the university this year as well. The process is quite simple.

Examination Structure

The exam structure has never been a massive problem for me, although I have heard different opinions from others. I believe to improve it, they should do in a more consistent order to allow adequate studying between exams.

Faculty

Science and arts are grouped as a facility as queens - I do not agree with this as both arts and science are already so large. There should be a bigger distinction between the two.
