Strong science program and close to home, they seemed very welcoming when I came down for a tour and everyone loved kinesiology at McMaster, you don't get that reaction a lot at other schools. The campus is beautiful as well.
Course Curriculum
I think it's difficult to maintain 5 courses at once, some are harder than others. General first-year courses seem to be harder than other courses.
Events
There is a large variety of events run to include everyone. A few weeks ago we had a hijab day, they run a carnival at the end of the year right before exams, concerts throughout the year, bible study groups, many clubs.
Fees
Everyone pays tuition which includes a health plan, gym membership and small fees towards many different parts of the campus.
Examination Structure
Very good, exams are always organized and well written to assess the content learned in the course. They have many people watching over examinations to ensure everything runs smoothly and properly.
Faculty
Staff, for the most part, is friendly and helpful. Staff in kinesiology are the best, but I have found teachers outside of kin tend to be less and less friendly.
Hostel
The residence was good, very welcoming and kept maintained by staff. The on-floor advisors were friendly and helped with any questions we had, food was always close by. Clean and somewhat spacious rooms.
