I enjoy the size of the campus which is relative to a medium sized campus. It is easily navigatable during the first week of school. The furthest classes were only an 8-minute walk which was absolutely perfect because you could go back to back classes with no problem. I also opted for this University because I believed they had a great Commerce program and it would help me reach my career goal of doing something in the Finance area.

Course Curriculum

10

Very interesting material, I enjoy the content that each course has to offer. Ultimately, I would say it is nicely structured where you can sample the different strands of business to see what you enjoy the most.

Exams

No entry exams needed for McMaster Unversity except the OSSLT which is a literacy test taken in Grade 10.

Fees

The fees are roughly 5-8k per semester for the Commerce program. There are other charges such as a Dental Plan which you can opt out of if you don't want it. They also have a fee for the bus pass included in your fees but ultimately is a valuable asset because if you use the bus often it makes up for it.

Examination Structure

Usually, it is Multiple Choice for most courses, but some math based classes such as Stats and Finance had short answer questions. Sometimes the multiple choice exams are quite difficult because they are always two options they put that are relatively close to the question they are asking for. For the most part, the exams are fair.

Faculty

10

They are very open and always ready to talk with you if you have any questions or concerns, I enjoy that aspect of my faculty. I would say the Commerce Faculty is perhaps one of the best at McMaster.
