- BCIT English Trades Entry Assessment (two years of education in an English-speaking country are required to take this assessment)
- Post-secondary education:
- Certificate in Interior Design Fundamentals with: 65% in all INTD courses and 70% in COMM 1120
- ENGL 1177 - Academic Writing
