The University of Queensland offers a BA in Environmental Management for a duration of 4 years.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
By studying environmental management at UQ, students will gain a foundation in environmental sciences with the added focus on social and economic disciplines, decision-making, problem-solving, and policy analysis.
In the first two years of study, students will gain a sound understanding of the natural sciences.
Students will also learn how to manage complex environmental problems through techniques and approaches that integrate biophysical, social, cultural, economic, legal, and management factors.
In the third year, students will undertake a two-week field trip to investigate environmental management practices in a variety of contexts. Plus students will complete an industry placement to refine their understanding and skills in environmental management.
In the final year, students will apply the research, knowledge, and skills acquired in their first three years and develop their ability to manage complex real-world problems that affect a range of natural or urban environments.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have a Queensland Year 12 (or equivalent) in General English subject.
The grade requirements in the subjects are C in Units 3 and 4.
Students must have an IB score of 28, a grade of 3 in HL subjects, and a grade of 4 in SL subjects.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply they passed high school from any one of the following:

CBSE, CICSE, State Boards Maharashtra and West Bengal from 65% scores.
State Boards Gujarat, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu from 75% scores.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
