Georgia State University or GSU is a public research university in Atlanta, Georgia. It was founded in1913 and is one of the research centers of Georgia’s four research universities. It has a strong reputation for being the largest institution based on enrolment- in the top 10 universities with a diverse majority-minority student population. It is a minority-serving institution and has achieved the most ethnically diverse campus in Georgia and the USA.

It has two libraries- the North and the South, together these contain over 13 million holdings and serve as federal document depositories, which means they contain government documents that can be accessed by the public for free. In 2022, US News & World Report ranked GSU amongst the number 2 most innovative universities in US.
