- The 30 credit hours must include at least five courses in aerospace engineering at the 500 level or higher (excluding directed study courses and seminars) and two approved courses in mathematics from the list below. A single course cannot double count towards both the aerospace requirement and the mathematics requirement.
- Also, up to six credit hours of directed study (AEROSP 590) and three credit hours of AEROSP 585. seminar series may be elected. Students are encouraged to take advantage of directed study and become involved in research as part of their MSE experience.
- The MSE program does not include an option for a thesis, however, through AEROSP 590, students can perform research work in close supervision of a faculty member and investigate a problem of common interest, resulting in a paper of publishable quality, if they so choose.
- Students should become acquainted with the research work being performed in the department and then contact faculty members with whom they find common research interests. A single course cannot double count towards both the aerospace requirement and the mathematics requirement.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Following are the requirement of the program:
- The applicants must earn their bachelor’s degree.
- The Program requires the Grade Point Average received in CSE coursework must be at least 3.0 based on Rackham's 4.0 scale.
- Successful M.Sc applicants usually have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.5/4.0, GRE scores of at least 70% verbal, 90% quantitative, and 40% analytical writing, and three strong letters of recommendation.

- Resume: Outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and/or volunteer experience.
- Official Mark Sheets and Degree Certificates: The marks statement provided by the education board after completion of the previous academic qualifications.
- List All Post-Secondary Educational Institutions: It includes technical and professional schools, regardless of the duration of attendance or whether the study was related to the field of management.
- Two Letter of Recommendation: A recommendation letter should include information about the student, their connection with the person they are recommending, why they are qualified, and the specific skills they have.
- Statement of Purpose - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying.
- ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores.
