- The Professional MBA program at the University of South Carolina offers a flexible MBA format designed for professionals from all industry backgrounds who are looking to gain the skills and connections needed to distinguish themselves in the marketplace and achieve greater levels of professional success and impact.
- Over the course of 28 months, students’ll master the hard and soft skills essential for success in business, regardless of their aspirations. Absorb accounting, human resources, management, finance, operations and marketing coursework during six, seven-week terms per year.
- With the Moore School’s longstanding history of international excellence, student’ll benefit from a global focus throughout your program. Elective courses include optional 10-14 day study abroad experiences offered up to three times per year.
- The PMBA is a 48-credit hour program, consisting of nine core courses (27 hours) and seven elective courses (21 hours). Prerequisite coursework is not required for admission

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academics:
- A bachelor`s Degree is the required field of study from a recognized institute or equivalent
- Have undergraduate GPAs between 3.5 and 4.0
Work Experience
- The most competitive applicants have at least two or more years of full-time, post-bachelor, professional work experience by the start of the program. You are required to include your resume as part of your online application
English Language Requirements
- TOEFL – The TOEFL is composed of listening, reading, speaking and writing sections. The minimum score is 95 in the iBT (internet-based test) format
- IELTS – The IELTS is composed of listening, reading, speaking and writing sections. The minimum score is 7.0 in the academic format
- PTE -The PTE Academic is composed of speaking, writing, reading and listening sections. The minimum score is a 68
- Duolingo – A minimum score of 115 will be required for your application to be considered further.
Essays
- Students are required to choose one of two essay questions to answer. The application also asks for a Statement of Purpose (maximum of 500 words) that should outline your career objectives and why you want to earn the MBA degree
Standardized Scores: Students are required to provide a valid (five years or less) admissions test. If have taken a test more than once, the admissions committee will only take into consideration your highest overall score. Studnets may provide either of the following options:
- Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT)
- GRE General Test (GRE)
Letter of Recommendation: Two letters of recommendation are required for your application
Scores Required
There is no minimum requirement for GMAT or GRE score but applicant must provide a good GMAT or GRE score.to get admission in University of South Carolina.
