University of South Carolina acceptance rate is 62%, demonstrating a moderately selective admission process. As per the 2022 admissions, the 50% of the students accepted in undergraduate courses were between the top 7-29% of their high school class. The GPA of admitted students was recorded between 4.1 - 4.7. As far as test scores are concerned, the admitted non residents students submitted SAT score between the range of 1250-1400. Those submitted ACT results have scores between 28-32. Majority of courses consider GPA and high school rank as major factors for admissions. Submission of test scores is optional, but international students are encouraged to submit these scores to improve their chances of admission.

Talking about the graduate admissions, a minimum GPA of 3.0 is required for admission to most courses. However, some courses may require a Higher GPA between the range of 3.3 - 3.5 (88-90%). High GPA requirements can be waived through the submission of test scores like GMAT or GRE. Also, some programs may consider test scores as a mandatory requirement for admission which can also be waived off with high GPA scores.
