Our language arts education program will turn you into an outstanding writer and language arts teacher. You’ll take liberal arts and literature courses and write across a wide-range of genres – from fiction to poetry to business and technical writing. In addition, you’ll take education courses and spend time observing and teaching in local classrooms. You’ll learn about child and adolescent development, exceptional learners, technology, curriculum, classroom strategies, methods of teaching, and more. You’ll graduate ready to be licensed to teach language arts to seventh- through 12th-graders in Ohio.
