Through coursework and research students will study four subdisciplines of anthropology:
- Archaeology: Explore ancient cultures and learn techniques to analyze their material remains such as tools, paintings, and religious artifacts to interpret their values and way of life.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants with undergraduate majors in anthropology are preferred, and each is expected to have had at least one undergraduate course in each of the four subdisciplines.
- Students must achieve and maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
- The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or GMAT results are required.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Students should submit required official and complete individual mark skeets for each examination attempt, including subsidiary exams.
- Photocopies of student's mark sheets are accepted only when they are attested by the University Registrar or Controller of Examinations and placed in a sealed, stamped envelope that is sent directly to the Graduate School.

International applicants are required to apply for an F-1 or J-1 student Visa. As per the application process of universities in the USA, a student needs to have the following basic documents to procure a US student visa.
- A valid passport that has a validity of a minimum of 6 months after students stay in the country
- Form DS-160 (Nonimmigrant visa application confirmation page)
- Application fee payment Receipt
- Form I-20 if applying for a Student visa (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status)
- Receipt Number on Petition filed by U.S employer (I-129 form) if applying for a work visa.
- Original Marks Sheet or Provisional certificates.
- Evidence of sufficient funds in the bank account to ensure you can survive the duration of course in the USA.
- Score sheet of standardized exams like IELTS (6.5 or equivalent), TOEFL, GMAT, GRE, etc.
- Proof that the candidate will leave the country once the program is completed. A return air ticket to the home country can be evidence of this kind.
