Bachelor of Science [B.S] [Business Administration] From Winston Salem State University

The Business Administration major is the generalist degree within the Faculty of Business (FOB): Rather than specialization, Business Administration students seek the broadest-possible business knowledge and capabilities. This goal will be facilitated by faculty committed to effective teaching, to expanding intellectual knowledge in their fields and to improving their communities. Emphasis is placed on key courses from each academic business discipline so that the student can develop an understanding and appreciation of the entire business world and its relationship to a global economy and society. The curriculum also provides a sound background for those who are preparing for graduate study in business and related areas.

Student Learning Outcomes

The learning goals of the general business concentration are to produce graduates who are able to:

• communicate effectively in oral and written formats
• demonstrate an ability to analyze business problems and situations
