- The University of New Haven offers an intensive, 30-credit master’s degree program in mechanical engineering. Take advantage of hands-on study both inside and outside of the classroom with studies in thermodynamics, computer-aided engineering, advanced fluid mechanics, system vibrations, and more.
- Course study is enhanced through a number of interactive, state-of-the-art facilities including our instrumentation laboratory, thermo/fluids laboratory, solar testing and training laboratory, and more.
- Students will also have the opportunity to choose between a project or thesis option to complete their program with a focus on an area of research of their choosing. They will enjoy small, personalized classes with an average of 15 students per class.
- Mechanical engineering students can choose the topic for their research projects. A group of students recently opted for the highly relevant and newsworthy topic of renewable, alternative energy sources for their project.

- Students have to submit the Two Letters of Recommendation, Statement of Purpose, Transcripts (in English) from all colleges or universities attended.
