The program consists of two tracks:
- Traditional health physics
- Nuclear nonproliferation
For students who select the Nonproliferation track, the focus of the internships and the required courses is directed more toward the science, technology and some policy aspects of this subject.
The curriculum of the Health Physics program, for both tracks, has been designed to provide students with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge to become competent health physicists. Students in the program have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in various areas associated with health physics, such as basic radiation physics, radiation detection, radiation dosimetry, radiation and chemicial cancer risk assessment, environmental radiation protection, and radiation biology.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have completed a bachleors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
- Submit three letters of recommendation from persons who can appraise the applicants potential to study
- Submit your updated resume that contains details of work experience and education
- Submit a detailed personal statement in 500-700 words describing your academic interest, personal goals, professional goals etc
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 100 in ibT;
- IELTS: minimum 7.0
