The University of Tulsa emerged from the Presbyterian School for Indian Girls which was established in 1882. After the request of uplifting the university’s academics status, it was named as Henry Kendall College. And subsequently, the college got relocated in the beautiful location of Oklahoma which is popular for man-made lakes and got its present name, i.e., the University of Tulsa. Today TU is an independent, non-denominational university and among the top-rated institutes in Oklahoma that welcomes students from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
The University of Tulsa offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level programs through its semester-based academic system. University of Tulsa Programs
The University of Tulsa offers 67, 47, and 16 courses, respectively, at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. Some of the popular majors of the university are Business Management, Social Sciences, Engineering. The academic schools include the school of Arts and Science, Business, Engineering & Natural Sciences, Health Sciences, Law, and Graduate School.

University of Tulsa Campus
TU is located in the city of Oklahoma that is spread over an area of 230 acres. Toilet Bowl, Springfest, and Homecoming are some of the events to enjoy student life.

The campus also consists of housing facilities with access to the library, dining services, ebooks, electronic periodicals, fitness and recreation center, and health center.
University of Tulsa Housing
The University of Tulsa provides the on-campus residence facility to its students. The university consists of two types of accommodation, i.e., Residence Hall and Apartment.
- Residence Hall: TU offers six residence halls such as Fisher South, Fisher West Suites, and Hardesty Hall. The options include single rooms to suite-style living that is reserved only for first-year students and for single-sex living areas. Each of them can hold more than 150 students at a time. The rooms include the facilities such as free laundry facilities, kitchen with full-size stove, ice machine, microwave, sink, study lounge, etc.
- Apartments: Living at the apartments offers an opportunity for the independent living along with the support and convenience. All of the apartments have a capacity of up to 100 students. Well furnished kitchens, wifi, washer, dryer in each apartment are some of the features of the apartments offered to students.

University of Tulsa Application Process
The application process of the university is easy. A student is eligible for admission after filling the application form. Although it is recommended to prepare the documents well in time to prevent the last time hassle.

- Admission at the University of Tulsa is offered on a rolling basis. However, January 15 is the preferred deadline for submitting the form.
