Overview

I transferred here to be closer to home. I love the big school but small school class sizes and they have an Excellent nursing program as well. The school is affordable (as an in-state student). I had previously applied in high school and got in so I knew I would not have a problem getting into the school as a transfer student.

Fees

In-state tuition + room and board is about $26,000. For out of state students the total cost (tuition + room and board) is $38,000. I am not using any loans. When I first applied during high school I was offered a $3,000/year scholarship based on my National Honor Society membership. When I applied as a transfer student I was not offered a scholarship.

Overview

The school has a good computer science program and the price was perfect for my budget. Also, it was close to home and the major tech companies in the area. Toured the school and I really liked the feel of the campus.

Fees

In-state tuition is charged for residents of Maryland. It's about 3,000 for each semester I believe. You have other fees like room and board, athletic fee and even new student fee.
