The school has a good computer science program and the price was perfect for my budget. Also, it was close to home and the major tech companies in the area. Toured the school and I really liked the feel of the campus.
Course Curriculum
Challenging and prepares you to work in your particular field. The computer science courses are hard and they make you think. They are designed to help prepare you for interviewing and getting a job as a software engineer.
Fees
In-state tuition is charged for residents of Maryland. It's about 3,000 for each semester I believe. You have other fees like room and board, athletic fee and even new student fee.
Examination Structure
Various exams and midterms and Final Exam Week. Most exams are math-based so you must show your work. I've only had one multiple choice exam since attending this school. Some professors allow a reference sheet to be used during exams also.
Faculty
The faculty and staff are pretty good. Some professors will go the long way and help you out, some won't. You have to find the ones who are willing to really help you understand the material.
