Ph.D. (Earth Science) is a three year duration doctoral level course. The goal of doctoral course to develop in eligible students a censorious understanding of appropriate earth- related tools, exposure to latest methods and techniques, competence in developing tools for the transformation, analysis, acquisition, processing, modelling, storage. It provide study related to presentation of spatial data, application of geo- information in identifying and responding to development problems and in drafting development policies, developing research skills to design and tackle research and development projects in many fields of geo-informatics. For this candidates must be very hard working and must posses the capacity of independent study and thought. Through this course candidates can make their career in various fields. This estimate involves coursework and the writing and acceptance of the dissertation.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Applicants must have already taken (or take during their first two years of graduate study) at least three Earth Science courses, such as:
- Paleobiology
- Sedimentology
- Mineralogy
- Structural Geology
- Geochemistry
- Geophysics
- Climatology
- Geomorphology and
- Hydrogeology
College evaluate applications based on fit with your advisor, grades and GPA, coursework, personal statement, research experience, and letters of recommendation.
Some advisors may require GRE scores, and these may still be required for University and College awards. International/non-native English speakers must take the TOEFL, IELT exam
