What Will You Study?
To prepare you for management careers, you will take a common core of business courses. Your sport management-specific courses may include such courses as Sport Facility Planning and Management, Sport Marketing, International Sport Management, or Business Law for Sport Management, combined with field trips to sport venues. With the use of elective courses, Sport Management majors can pursue a dual major in?Marketing.?Courses can help you explore the worlds of sports analytics, scouting and player development, event management or golf operations, intercollegiate athletics management, or you can minor in athletic coaching. Our 3+3 Law program can prepare you to work in arbitration or negotiation.

Our graduates work in all aspects of sport from events planning to facilities operation, sporting goods to media sales or coaching at the collegiate level. Western New England University alumni have been hired by the New York Yankees, ESPN, CBS Sports, Boston Red Sox, PGA Tour, Adidas, New Balance, Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens, NBC Sports, Boston Celtics, CBS Radio, New England Revolution, and the New Jersey Devils, among many major sport organizations.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and all previous education completed
- Official transcripts must contain course by course evaluation and should be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
- Submit one letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 74 in ibt;
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 100
- PTE: minimum 50
