Shepherd University offers a variety of courses for its undergraduate students, and applicants can opt for over 80 courses, some of them being engineering, English literature, chemistry, computer and information technology and so on.

Admission Requirements for UG Applicants

Some additional recommendations for undergrad applications include the successful completion of the following (in units or years):

• 4 English (including courses in grammar, composition, and literature)
• 4 Mathematics (three units must be Algebra I and higher)
• 3 Social Studies (including U.S. history)
• 3 Science (all courses to be college preparatory laboratory science, preferably including units from biology, chemistry, and physics)
• 2 Foreign Language or American Sign Language (two units of the same language)
• 1 Art/ Humanities or Technology

Shepherd University Graduate Admissions

Shepherd University offers multiple graduate programs for its students, ranging from masters degrees, dual master’s degrees, doctoral programmes and non degree courses.

Application Requirements for PG Applicants

The requirements for successful application at Shepherd University are as follows:

• Submitting academic records of any post secondary work. For coursework which has been completed outside of the United States, applicants need to request an official evaluation from NACES, and said evaluations should include a statement of degree equivalency.
• English proficiency test scores
• MAT/GRE scores
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 in undergraduate coursework or 3.0 in the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework.
• Resume
• At least one letter of recommendation from a supervisor or a teacher
• Additional documents, including letters of intent etc.
