Popular for its MSW, BS BA, and BS Computer Science courses, the university requires its students to have a minimum GPA of 2.0 (73-76%). Applicants must note that to get into UG courses SAT or ACT scores are mandatorily required. You must have a composite ACT score of 18 and SAT score of 950. On the other hand, your PG applications must be supported by LORs. Concord University Admission Deadlines

Concord University International Student Admissions

Concord University welcomes international applications and accepts over 100 international applications representing a varied range of 35 countries. International students are admitted in the university if all admission requirements are fulfilled and a legal visa is obtained by the US embassy.

How to apply?

  • Application portal: The rolled-out applications are to be released and submitted online by visiting the official website of the university. You can then get access to the application form in the international students section of the application section.
  • Application fee: International students are required to make a mandatory commitment deposit of 150 USD ( 50 for housing and 100 USD towards tuition fee) after which they are allowed to register for classes. Please note that the commitment deposit must be made at least 45 days prior to the commencement of classes.

Admission requirements: applicants are required to fulfill the following admission requirements and provide a permanent, physical mailing address to the university. You must also make sure that the name on your academic records and passport is identical.

  • A completed application form
  • Official academic transcripts in English, sent directly by the academic institute to the university.
  • Any additional or external examination or scores such as IB results, WAEC results to be sent to the university.
  • If there exists an educational gap larger than 13 months, an explanation must be issued to the university about the same.
  • Proof of English proficiency.

Additional requirements for transfer international students: An official transcript evaluation from World Education Services(WES) or education credential evaluators(ECE) must be submitted by international transfer students;

Additional requirements for exchange students :

  • Copy of the passport
  • Certificate of financial coverage projecting at least 15000 USD;
  • A non-degree application

The scores of English proficiency do play an important role during admission. However, these scores are not mandatory, in case a candidate is incapable of demonstrating English proficiency, the university will provide English courses by the ELS department which will be mandatory for those students.

US Visa Application Process

Students who have enrolled for a full-time academic program at the concord university must obtain a student visa to study in the USA from the government. The university offers only F-1 student visas and only those students who demonstrate financial coverage are provided with the I-20 forms by the office of international admissions. 

Once the students receive these documents, they can apply for a visa at the US embassy in their hometown after paying the SEVIS fee. In order to obtain a J-1 level visa, students must obtain the above forms, clear the SEVIS fee, complete the DS-160 form and then schedule a visa interview at the embassy.

The following documents are required :

  • An official bank statement showing at least 33067 USD in liquid assets;
  • SEVIS fee payment receipt;
  • Original I-20 and DS form( if applicable);
  • Valid passport;
  • The student visa stamp in passport;
  • Evidence of relationship with home country;

Concord University Undergraduate Admissions

The concord university offers admissions for freshmen in various departments of business administration, environmental studies, political science, art, general psychology provided the eligibility criterion is matched and the official transcripts are successfully sent to the university.
