The Health, Human Services, and Public Policy Department is recognized for unique and innovative programs that provide students, who are interested in careers in the health and human services, nonprofit management and public administration professions, with integrative and multidisciplinary learning opportunities including academic study and field-based practice in community-based agencies.
Students develop the knowledge, skills and values of collaborative leadership, professional ethics, cross cultural competence, and the use of technology in all HHSPP programs. In addition, the processes essential to empowering individuals, families, organizations, and communities seeking to create positive change in society are emphasized as important academic and professional goals for students, faculty and staff.
The programme??also prepares you for entry into graduate programs in public health, social work, public administration, nonprofit management, and related allied health and social service professions.
You will master the theory and practice of inter-agency collaboration; acquire proficiency in the use of electronic technologies; and develop sound critical-thinking, communication and analytical skills. You will also build a foundation of values and ethics, and cultural competence needed for serving client populations and communities whose backgrounds differ from your own.

Academic Requirements:

- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.40 or equivalent
