Classroom instruction, conducted by award-winning professors, is supplemented by hands-on laboratory experience, field trips and the opportunity to participate in student clubs, including the American Society of Civil Engineers, Associated General Contractors, Institute of Transportation Engineers, Water Environmental Federation and American Water Works Association. To accommodate graduate students who also work, graduate courses are scheduled in the late afternoon and evening. The BS Civil Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET,
