The BA in Professional Writing program program prepares students to work as writers for corporations, non-profit organizations, or as independent contractors for print and digital publication, in strategic or business communications and in content marketing, among other pursuits. Students who major in Professional Writing will complete a coursework that will ground them in the principles of writing for several forms and disciplines and then will choose a specific area of focus, which will allow them to acquire depth in that discipline.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all high school attended and other institutions
- Official transcripts should contain a list of all the courses completed, grades of all the coursework completed, credits, confirmation of graduation and degree conferred
- Submit an essay of 300-350 words describing why you want to study at the university
- Submit a resume highlighting your academic, professional and extracurricular activities
- Submit a letter of recommendation from your counselor, teacher discussing your character to succeed at the university level
- Submit English Language Proficiency test requirements
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in iBT; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 110
