The group have a solid knowledge of quantitative methods that are used to estimate, forecast and test theories of finance and financial economics, collaborating with both UK-based and overseas researchers in developing joint research projects.

The Economics Research Group undertakes research into a rich variety of topics including microeconomic level analysis of individual or household decision making and patterns of consumption, specific industry and market studies, global macroeconomic and monetary interactions.
