University provides plenty if job fairs. It is an opportunity to talk to people and build network. Though the university itself dont guarantee placements, it is upto the individual how well he/she takes advantage of these job fairs to communicate and network with people. Ultimately everyone lands a job, it demands on the individual's capabilities how easy or hard is for them to land a job. Internships are very important. If you get an internship, consider you have a full time job eventually.

Top rated public university in the country. Frequent career fairs (job fairs). Ample on-campus job opportunities. Affordable city for living (rent is cheaper). Free public transportation for students.

it's a great location for the campus since it is in the city, has good resources for new grad students who start school here. More variety of courses could be offered soon, but at the moment there are only so many that one can choose from. Career prospects are good but highly depend on the student's networking skills and presentation/profile. People are friendly and helpful

Internship

yes, Vertica, about 17k$ for 3 months

Internship

Yes but you need to apply externally and it's really competitive. It was a major stressor for me and I feel like I wasn't prepared or helped in the internship and job hunt. The services need to be improved.

The location was near home and in a good place. The school name is world renowned. I knew there were a lot of alumni, especially in my field. Overall seemed like a good choice for undergraduates studies.

The career development office and university staff put on tons of career fairs and networking opportunities for students looking for jobs. There are also many jobs on campus or in the general area for students working while in school.

Internship

Yes, internships are often a requirement for field work for specific majors and minors. I have completed 600 hours at the placement of my choosing as part of my degree, which equates to 12 credit hours. I do not receive a stipend.
