Wide range of courses you can pick from. Pretty normal and easy going course work, in terms of tests, assignments and projects. Every task is preformed in groups. Professors are people who are currently working in the industry.
Top rated public university in the country. Frequent career fairs (job fairs). Ample on-campus job opportunities. Affordable city for living (rent is cheaper). Free public transportation for students.
it's a great location for the campus since it is in the city, has good resources for new grad students who start school here. More variety of courses could be offered soon, but at the moment there are only so many that one can choose from. Career prospects are good but highly depend on the student's networking skills and presentation/profile. People are friendly and helpful
Tuition is slightly expensive, but the overall experience of the city and the learning curve kind of balances that cost. living expenses are cheap so that balances the other costs too Tuition about 56k $ (for duration of program) living expenses: 400-500$ (upper limit, per month) rent: 400-500$ ( lower limit, per month) misc expenses: 200$ (per month)
There could be an improvement. There are a lot of general education classes that I would rather not take. The business curriculum is very well developed, but I don't know if the arts and science school is that good.
Tuition is the hefty part that costs over the thousands. Housing and food is the second large charge. The other charges are transportation and technology fees and student life.
There are thousands, of course, offerings (a perk of a larger public school) with specific concentrations for every interest. Sometimes this means that classes are not offered when you want to take them or end up being very large.
All fees are included in a lump sum of tuition payment. This includes a bus pass, tuition, wellness fees, student insurance, etc.
