The study of economics promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and analysis skills applicable in many professions and careers. Economics is a particularly useful major in today's global job market. The undergraduate curriculum offers a great deal of flexibility. Many of the students, preparing for business careers, pursue a dual degree in economics and business in conjunction with Pitt's College of Business Administration.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Following are the academic requirements of the program:
- Students have to submit an online application form.
- Students also have to submit Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) and an original or certified, official secondary school records from grades 9-11 (transcripts, mark sheets, certificates, examination results, etc.) and any national/state examination results.
