This pre pharmacy degree program helps prepare you for the Pharmacy College Admission Test (PCAT) by delving deeply into scientific topics related to human physiology, cellular biology and the interaction of pharmacologicals in the human body.
As a pre pharmacy program student, you also have the opportunity to work with a team of advisors whose focus is to help you achieve your graduate school goals. Services include informational sessions, one-on-one meetings, application assistance, mock interviews and much more.
In order to become a pharmacist, you must master interpersonal and intercultural communication skills since you will be working with both customers and other pharmacists regularly. When you enroll in Grand Canyon University?s pre pharmacy program, you will examine current theories and practices of pharmacology. Real-world topics are investigated and discussed, including the effects of drugs on representative organ systems and disease processes, as well as issues with drug abuse.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
- Applicants with GPA less than 3.0 need to submit scores of SAT/ACT
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
