The two-year Professional Science Master's in Biotechnology program in Temple's College of Science and Technology explores the development of new technologies based on living organisms and their products. Biotechnologists seek to understand biomolecular and cellular processes and then use that knowledge to inform the development of products and technologies that benefit the environment and human health. Breakthroughs in biotechnology have led to advances in
- conserving energy,
- fighting diseases,
- improving manufacturing processes and
- reducing famine.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Graduate candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized college.
- There is no minimum GPA requirement.
- Most applicants have an undergraduate degree in one of the natural sciences, Computer Science or Mathematics. Students from other fields will need to take prerequisite courses.
Indian Eligibility:
- Students are required to submit their 4-year of an undergraduate degree with first grade from the recognized university.
- Students must have an undergraduate degree in one of the natural sciences, Computer Science or Mathematics.
- Students are required to submit their English proficiency scores.
Submission of GRE is optional.
