EE includes the engineering of electrons, magnets, photons, electro-magnetic waves, quantum states, and electro-mechanical structures. Electrically Engineered systems provide communication, sensing, actuation, display, storage, conversion, control, and computation.
Graduates of the Electrical Engineering program will:
- Successfully integrate the fundamentals of electrical engineering and design/realization practices to develop innovative solutions to complex technological problems;
- Possess excellent communication skills, excel in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams, and have an appreciation for non-technical disciplines ;
- Engage in careers or graduate studies in electrical engineering or their chosen field.
- Be recognized in their chosen fields for their leadership, integrity and sensitivity to global societal issues.
Students graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering have:
- An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering
- An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data
- An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability
- An ability to function on multi-disciplinary teams
- An ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems
- An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility
- An ability to communicate effectively
- The broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal context
- A recognition of the need for and an ability to engage in life-long learning
- A knowledge of contemporary issues
- An ability to use the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants should have completed a High School degree, or its equivalent, from a recognized university.
- Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission in this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a Secondary School education with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Completed a diploma with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
